Core Web Vitals
Google's three speed and stability scores that measure how fast and smoothly your page loads for real users.
Definition
Core Web Vitals are three measurements Google uses to grade your real-user experience: LCP (how long the biggest thing on the page takes to appear), INP (how quickly the page reacts to taps and clicks), and CLS (whether things jump around as the page loads). Failing scores hurt your rankings and your conversion rate at the same time. The biggest wins usually come from compressing images, reducing third-party scripts, and choosing decent hosting. Why it matters in Miami
A huge share of Miami traffic is on mobile data in cars, parking garages, and condos with patchy reception. A site that loads in 1.8 seconds on Comcast fiber can take 9 seconds on a phone in a Brickell elevator — and Google's Vitals score reflects the worst case.
Example
A Pinecrest pediatrician's site had an LCP of 6.2 seconds because the homepage hero was a 4MB photo. After compressing it to 180KB and removing two tracking scripts, all three Core Web Vitals turned green and bookings rose 23%.
