CTR (Click-Through Rate)
The percentage of people who see your link in search results and actually click on it.
Definition
CTR (Click-Through Rate) measures how compelling your listing looks in Google. If 100 people see your business in the search results and 5 click, your CTR is 5%. A higher CTR usually means your title and description match what people were hoping to find, and Google takes that as a vote of confidence to rank you better. You raise CTR by writing clearer titles, honest descriptions, and using stars, prices, or location cues when possible. See our SEO services on /pricing.php.
Why it matters in Miami
In Miami's bilingual market, a title written in Spanish can dramatically lift CTR when the searcher is Hispanic — same ranking, double the clicks. Local cues like 'Doral' or 'Brickell' in the title also help nearby buyers self-select your listing.
Example
A Hialeah auto body shop changed its Google title from 'Auto Repair Services' to 'Taller de Chapa y Pintura en Hialeah — Estimados Gratis' and watched CTR jump from 2.1% to 7.8% in six weeks.
