Bounce rate
The percentage of visitors who leave your site after viewing only one page without interacting.
Definition
Bounce rate measures how many people land on your site, look at one page, and leave without clicking anything. A high bounce rate isn't always bad — if someone Googles your phone number and bounces after calling you, that's actually a win. But for a service page or blog post, a high bounce usually means the page was slow, confusing, or didn't match what the visitor expected. In GA4, this is now tracked differently using engagement rate, but the concept is the same. Lowering bounce rate means better content, faster pages, and clearer calls to action — all part of our packages.
Why it matters in Miami
Miami visitors are mostly on mobile and on the move — if your page takes 4+ seconds to load on a phone in Brickell traffic, they bounce before they even see your offer. Page speed and bounce rate are tightly linked here.
Example
A Coconut Grove yoga studio has 85% bounce on their schedule page. We compress images, add a clearer "Book a Class" button, and bounce drops to 52% in three weeks.
